Valda is 62, was injured while working and is now struggling with multiple health-related issues (with another surgery coming next month). Due to her health, she is unable to work. Public assistance has been limited so she keeps her expenses to the absolute minimum. She goes to the local food pantry for her food needs and tries to extend the life of all her other household items. She lives alone and is doing her best to navigate everyday life with her ailing health. She would greatly appreciate any help with groceries (especially to get fruit, vegetables and dairy product which are not provided by the food pantry) and toiletries. Diabetic shoes would be especially helpful since walking is very painful.
