Hearts & Homes For Refugees Coat & Boot Drive

The Westchester Refugee Initiative (WRI) is coordinated by Hearts & Homes and is a network of more than 40 groups and many volunteers that welcome refugees. Two members of the WRI – Hearts & Homes for Refugees and Neighbors for Refugees – are hosting the annual Winter Drive to provide warm coats and snow boots to refugee and asylee families in Westchester and the tri-state area. In 2019 we served over 450 refugees. This year, many families are facing extra hardship due to the pandemic, and we anticipate more needs than ever. We need your help!
Donate Winter Coats & Boots ONLY please.
We cannot accept other clothing items.
Don’t have a warm coat or pair of boots to donate?
We also accept Burlington and Target Gift Cards.
Volunteers Needed
Saturday, October 3, 9 am-5 pm, Collecting*
Sunday, October 4, 9 am-5 pm, for Packing
Monday, October 5, 8:30-10:30, for Deliveries

We will be imposing strict social distancing measures to ensure that donors and volunteers remain safe.
