Huguenot Memorial Church Christmas Tree Sale

Huguenot Memorial Church’s Annual Charitable Christmas Tree Sale will be Saturday, December 4 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at Boston Post Road and Pelhamdale Avenue.

For sale: Fraser fir trees in all sizes, decorated and undecorated wreaths, poinsettias, swag, and pine roping. 100% of proceeds go to local charities. Checks, cash, and credit cards accepted. All items will be for sale outdoors and we hear Santa may pay a visit!

Virtual Drawing Workshop: Landscape Basics

Join acclaimed artist and professor Edgar Jerins in his studio for a landscape drawing workshop. The class will go over an explanation of the horizon line, basic compositional strategies, to creating the illusion of depth and detail in drawing a landscape

Pelham Community Blood Drive Monday March 23

TMC (The Manor Club) and Pelham Together are thrilled to sponsor a community blood drive.

Blood donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and not have donated blood within the last 56 days. (*Parental permission form is required for 16 year olds & is available at www.nybc.org/16.)
People age 76 or older may donate blood if they meet all criteria and present a physicians letter.

It takes about an hour to donate blood yet only 2% of the eligible population donates. There is no substitute for human blood and you cannot get an infectious disease by donating.

2 seconds: how often someone needs blood
5 days: shelf life of donated platelets
42 days: shelf life of donated red blood cells
56 days: how often you can donate
17%: number of non-donors who cite “never thought about it” as the main reason for not giving

Walk ins welcome, though we prefer that you schedule your donation through the link below or by scanning the QR code.

Please remember to eat and drink plenty of water before giving blood and bring your Donor ID or ID with name and either signature or photo.

Open House for Potential Novel Night Hosts

Interested in hosting a Novel Night party but not sure what it entails? Join us for cocktails and nibbles and learn more from past hosts of various types of Novel Night dinners. The Friends of the Town of Pelham Public Library welcome you to an open house on March 1st from 4-6pm. Former hosts will give presentations about how they did it, from picking a book to choosing the décor.

Hidden Figures

The Picture House celebrates the Pelham Public Library’s “Pelham Reads” event with a free screening of the 2016 blockbuster Hidden Figures. Come walk the red carpet and view The Picture House students’ short film Hidden Figures Go to Space before the main feature.

Battle Of The Bands

Support your favorite local bands the night of Friday, October 6th at a Junior League of Pelham fundraiser. Every ticket holder can vote for their favorite band in this fun-filled competition.

Arts After Dark

Come create, mingle, and enjoy refreshments with friends. See creativity come alive during art demos throughout the evening. The highly popular Faculty Exhibition will be on view in the Art Center gallery, where partygoers can view work in a variety of media by the Art Center’s distinguished instructors.  Arts After Dark will include a gourmet gin tasting provided by Pomp & Whimsy. Pomp & Whimsy is an award-winning gin liqueur brand that brings modern sensibilities to the tradition of gin making by infusing classically distilled gin with a natural, delightfully flavorful botanical liqueur.

Arts After Dark is a 21+ event. There is a $20 donation cover charge; Pelham Art Center Silver Members or higher receive complimentary admission.

Huguenot Cabaret

One of Pelham’s most beloved events – the Huguenot Cabaret – will be held Saturday, April 25th, 2020. Months of planning, arranging and rehearsing eventually come together on this one night where Pelham’s local talent is showcased before an incredibly enthusiastic audience. Now in its 22nd year, the Cabaret features talented musicians, singers and groups performing a wide variety of musical genres.

Pelham Art Center Spring Gala GEOMETRIC

Celebrate the Pelham Art Center mission with some far out interpretations of shapes with this Geometric themed Annual Spring Gala.

Hot tunes will be spun by local DJ Stephen Byfield. Over the top table designs made by creative visionaries. Art collecting opportunities, live auction, and an art installation add to the celebratory evening. Join the Pelham Art Center for cocktails, dinner and dancing for the Spring Equinox this year.
